Garlic Mozzarella Rolls

Whether you’re planning a steak dinner or wanting to scare off vampires, garlic powder tastes great when added to bread dough. These dinner rolls, made with garlic and mozzarella cheese, are full of flavor. They are the perfect rolls to serve with a steak, pasta, or roast dinner.


  • 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
  • 12 ounce block of mozzarella cheese, cut into 12 equal cubes
  • butter, olive oil or beaten egg
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons oregano flakes

marinara sauce

  • 1 T Oil (I like Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1/4 C onion, diced 
  • 1 can whole tomatoes (sometimes we use fire roasted tomatoes) 
  • 1 can tomato sauce 
  • 1 bay leaf (remove after cooking and before blending) 
  • 1 tsp pepper 
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp oregano
